The Real Meaning of "Marry You" by Bruno Mars

"It's a beautiful night. We're looking something dumb to do. Hey, baby! I think I wanna marry you.."

Yeah, I think that's a well-known song for us, especially to the Hooligans--Bruno Mars' fans. We usually hear it in radio, youtube, everywhere, everytime. So, what I gonna discuss in this article is : most people think that this song is a real proposal to marry a girl from the boy. 

But, the reality isn't as precise as most people. For me, I thought this song tells us about a guy who falls in love with his crush and he really wants to marry her, Because he shows his sincerity to the girl. It happened after I've done interpreting this song. It's enough suprising for me, because when I really started to understand the lyric, there came a verse said,"If we wake up and you wanna break up that's cool. No, I won't blame you. It was fun girl." Because it turns out that he wasn't seriously marry the girl. If the girl wanna break up, he'd understand. He thinks that love a game. Wanna play? Quote from Taylor Swift - Blank Space. And then, in dancing juice verse. That verse tells us about he (the boy) was under the influence of alcohol when he wanted to marry the girl. So, he couldn't think clearly, what's going on, what's gonna happen after the marriage, how much funds he may need. So, dancing juice means an alcohol effect which it makes the user drunk so everything that show up around him will move or fly.

Understanding lyric from a song is important. But, interpreting it is really difficult. Because, there's many implicit message there that we may not know the real meaning. For your information, I'm just a beginner, so I think many mistakes I had done there. So, forgive me. Songs are made to entertain us and sent us a valuable message. Thanks guys!
